This weekend we spent our Saturday building a Lego set we got at a local toy store with probably the most amazing stock of Lego sets we have ever seen. They even had a window display of a really nice Lego town.
Here is what we ended up with.
And even though it was not a race, Jess wants the world to know that she completed three buildings to my two.
It does my heart good to see such healthy activities in the home. You may recall stories about how I engaged in “all nighters” just figuring out how a Lego sculpture was formed by looking at the picture and building, disassembling, and re-building until I got the thing put together. And all I had was a tiny photo from a catalog or advertizement on an insert. Ah, the good ol’ days. Nice to see they’re still happening at your house.
And for Jess — If the building of houses was happening at the keyboard instead of the table top, I believe the stats would be reversed. But it’s not a race. (You won!) But it’s still not a race. 😉
