Car trips, motorcycle trips, dive adventures, hikes, strolls, or just sitting around the house are all a part of my life. There is really nothing compelling about any of the experiences except that somewhere in the midst of the happening, a particularly interesting photo may have been snapped by me or another in my company. Beyond that, these remembered stories are only a few words to accompany a few pictures and may someday serve to entertain myself or members of my family. I do not claim that any of these writings are special, insightful, prophetic, or profound. So when it dawns on you, the gentle reader, that you are crossing the line into abject boredom, it’s not like I didn’t warn you.
I have lots of photos and lots of memories about them. What I write about in this electronic memoir (of sorts) are the items that capture my interest or made some lasting impression. The dates will mostly involve “circa” references unless I have hard data for particular time period. An event that happened 40 years ago in my life will not be as detailed regarding actual time and date as something that happened only 10 years ago an may be accompanied by a dated photo or receipt.
So this entry constitutes the introduction. Now on to collecting and writing.
