Louth Tartan

According to John Kenlon’s 1923 book Fourteen Years a Sailor, he was “born near the little seaport village of Annagassan, County Louth, Ireland, about thirty miles north of Dublin, on the shore of Dundalk Bay.”

Scotland tartans are determined by clan, but Irish tartans by county. Therefore, the Kenlon tartan would be the tartan of County Louth. According to houseoftartan.co.uk, the tartan for County Louth is:
