The new faces around here are getting familiar. The tall new-staff is certainly fussy about my room. Everyday, sweep, sweep, sweep. He really should nap more. He’s up at all hours of the day. I thought only cats did that. And I wonder where he naps. He’s gone during the best sun patches.
The other night I was strolling about and the other cat jumped off of the new-staffer’s bed, rushed to the top of the wooden hill and had a genuine hissy-fit. She carried on for a bit and then ran down the wooden hill to the area known as downstairs. Mind you I had not made a move while the other cat was making this loud show of “I’m number one. I’m number one.” Sure, sure, you’re number one. Now can we get on with the important stuff? Like where does the red dot hide when tall new-staff is away?
Speaking of tall new-staff, he’s in the corner. He’s looking at tiny buildings and saying something about my regular staff. “Far away,” he says.

Wednesday studies the computer screen on which a building appears. It is said to be where her regular staff is staying.
So my regular staff is there? So many questions! Where is there? Do they have red dots there? And what is the two-footer doing with the ladder on the screen? (He won’t catch any birds that way.)
You can reassure Wednesday that yes, we do have red dots here. We packed it up especially for when she arrives! You can also let her know that we miss her very much.
Awwwwhhhh….Wednesday, .we know how you feel….it’s tough to get used to new staff….and it takes some time to train them….but, we have been mostly successful with ours…..once in a while we have some re-training to do. It sure is nice to have a warm house and bed to stay in….Hang in there Wednesday……
